How We Talk to Each Other Here
You are welcome here. Disagreement is expected. Respect is required.
Modern Mutualism is a movement built on the idea that people who disagree on many things can still govern themselves together — with respect, with honesty, and with the understanding that everyone’s voice matters.
What we ask is simple: be the neighbour you want to have.
The Standards
Respectful disagreement: Argue with ideas, not with people. “I disagree because…” is welcome. “You’re an idiot because…” is not.
No personal attacks: No insults, name-calling, threats, or harassment. We need to be aware that every one has come from a different set of circumstances and those have influenced their views. Their views may hold insights.
No vulgar or hateful language: No slurs, no profanity used as a weapon, no language targeting any group.
Good faith: Assume the person you’re talking to means well until they prove otherwise.
Stay on topic. Comments should relate to the content on the page.
No spam or self-promotion.
How Moderation Works
Comments are automatically filtered for vulgar, threatening, or hateful language from day one. If your comment triggers the filter, it will be held and you’ll see a message inviting you to rephrase. First-time commenters go through a moderation queue — this catches spam, not opinions. Once your first comment is approved, future comments appear immediately.
We do not silently delete comments. If a comment is removed, a note explains why. We do not edit comments — if there’s a problem, the comment is removed in full and you’re invited to rephrase.

Why This Matters
If we can’t have a respectful conversation on a website, we have no business proposing that the country govern itself differently. The tiger does not roar over people. It speaks clearly, listens carefully, and earns respect by giving it.
